LABRAN

LABRAN is a singer song writer from Birmingham, England. LABRAN is the lead vocalist and plays all instruments on his releases except drums which are delivered with precision by the excellent Andrew Langford. In his youth, LABRAN played guitar in many bands on the Birmingham music scene to various degrees of success. His first band, Solway Fifth featured on a Peel session, with John Peel selecting one of their tracks to open his show. His second band Deadsunrising opened the first ever Supersonic Festival, and LABRAN later returned to the festival on two occasions, once again with Deadsunrising, and a third time with his band Formation Flight. His final band IONS split in 2014. In 2021, after a long hiatus from music, LABRAN decided to record a solo album, later drafting in Andy Langford, former IONS drummer to deliver the beats. The pair have not looked back since, 15 songs later 2022 promises to be a very productive year in terms of releases.
