Lady in Red is a Catalan and Menorquin band with its roots on pop, blues and soul music.
Their first release was their single Lady in Red, which gave name to the band. When going through the process of looking for a name, they eventually realized that the song Lady in Red was the one that had united them all and decided to name themselves after it.
All their songs are written in English with the exception of their second single, Cartes (Letters), which is sung in Catalan.
Both songs were released in the lates 2019. The whole album, which includes both singles and was recorded and produced in DARTESTUDI, was released in February 2020.
Lady in Red is much bigger than just friends playing music together. It is also the desire to show their music to the world, the overcoming of obstacles, the unconditional help of friends and family and their goodwill to make this project happen.
But in the end, we are just friends playing music together.
