Born in Abu Dhabi, spent her early childhood in Manila, and now based in California, Laica is a singer-songwriter who began writing songs and street performing at just 12 years old. She released her debut EP ‘Forever’ in 2020, followed by her first full-length project ‘i’m so fine at being lonely’ in 2021—a fully pop-driven album that captured the intensity of young heartbreak.
After a long hiatus, Laica returns with ‘love again’, her first single in years, set to drop on May 16, 2025. This marks a new chapter in her artistry, leaning into a more mature, R&B and soul-centered sound. Her upcoming self-titled album explores the rawness of love, loss, and vulnerability—blending elements of R&B, soul, hip-hop, and pop.
