Essentially a multimedia art project, New York-based Lansing-Dreiden is a self-described "company that sees no distinction between art and commerce -- or anything else." They began producing material in 2001 with the publication of their literary journal, Death Notices. Little is known about the group's members, except that they are Miami natives, refuse to be photographed, will only conduct interviews by e-mail, and never perform live. Their audio debut, Incomplete Triangle, is an eccentric mix of garage, dream pop, space rock, and early-'90s techno. It was released in April 2004 on Kemado Records and followed in November by the EP, Sectioned Beam. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
