la.nskey is the solo project of <a href="spotify:artist:69sFt37arbuC0hGSFAoWqZ" data-name="The Last Dinosaur">The Last Dinosaur</a>’s Rachel Lanskey.
Rachel grew up in the English countryside, where open skies, singing birds and long walks influenced her as a child. She started playing the violin at the age of 5 and continued studying viola at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the guidance of professor David Takeno.
As a teenager she was introduced to the D&B scene, spending many weekends dancing until the early hours with her friends. This was her first introduction to electronic music and planted the seed for <a href="spotify:artist:43QXDtaNDeOWxICsbMhIXH" data-name="la.nskey">la.nskey</a> an amalgamation of classical and electronic sounds.
