Last Kingdom – The Resurrection of Northern Power
Born in the shadow of Volvo Trucks in 2004, Last Kingdom was forged by vocalist Stefan Jacobsen and guitarist Freddy Olofsson, two dreamers bonded by a love of power metal and a refusal to settle for the ordinary. What began with demos and endless rehearsals soon evolved into a full-fledged band, storming Gothenburg stages alongside legends like Dragonland and Wolf.
After years of lineup changes, sweat, and steel, Last Kingdom released their debut album “Chronicles of the North” in 2012 – a melodic metal saga that earned critical acclaim across the globe. The band was poised for greatness, but just as the second album “Dream Captain” was ready to set sail… everything fell silent.
For over a decade, the Kingdom lay dormant. But legends don’t die — they wait.
13 years later, Last Kingdom has returned. Reborn. Reinspired. Reforged in fire.
