Last Machine Operation

Industrial and Metal frequently combine. But through the cogs of East Texas artist Todd Black’s solo project Last Machine Operation, they converge with a refreshingly caustic distinction.
By cannibalising sounds from industrial pioneers such as Ministry and Skinny Puppy and reviving them in a brand-new era of Industrial Rock, Last Machine Operation’s sound possesses a familiarity, but their revival is no mere assimilation.
Around the reverberant basslines which get the heart pounding, tight cavernous riffs, and caustic electronic instrumental collisions, you’ll find melodic hooks which pull you along with the constant evolutions of sound.
For the live show, the one-man machine enlists the deft talents of Nikki Pepper (Keyboards), Scott Greene (Bass), and Matt Hesson (Drums) to form a well-oiled crushing industrial arrangement.
Last Machine Operation is set to release their first EP on November 22nd, 2019.
