Formerly known as “LDott”, LAUD grew up in the Gunhill section of the northeast Bronx, NY. Being of Jamaican descent, it was only natural that LAUD had a passion for music from a young age. Whether it was Hip-Hop, Reggae, R&B, Rock etc., he loved all forms of musical expression, especially when he could sense the artist really took time to passionately craft their art. In elementary school LAUD began freestyling in little group cyphers with his peers and came to be known as someone who could flow. He never took himself seriously though as he thought everyone wanted to be a rapper and the dream of achieving it was unrealistic.

In the summer of 2012 he traveled to Orlando FL, with his longtime friend Fleet aka “FleeMason” to visit their producer Mike Mulah. It was during this time that LAUD recorded his first track “Cool Grey”, and first started to believe he could actually try to pursue a music career.

He used the next 1 & a half years to prepare, and in March 2015 released his first single “Escape Plan” featuring Jet Life affiliate Tre’ Pierre.

Since then LAUD has released 9 more tracks, 3 hit videos, A new EP “3M Music N Money Movements” and performed his songs throughout the tri-state, all while continuing to hone his craft in preparation for the day he’s finally thrust on to the world stage.
