LAUREN is an 20-year-old artist from Norway/Cuba. Her attitude and confidence combined with her incredible talent makes her a special addition to the Norwegian music scene. At the end of 2018 Lauren Holmen signed her first record deal with Warner Music and only a couple of months later, she released her first single in Norwegian, called ‘Slave’. With lyrics about growing up in a world facing climate and political problems, and the irony of everybody being more interested in their social media standing rather than trying to deal with real problems.
LAUREN quickly followed up with her second single ‘Look At Me Now’, a song that really established that the young talent has many strings to play on. After only 5 months as an artist she got a request she had never dared to dream of, the British multi-award-winning artists <a href="spotify:artist:2SrSdSvpminqmStGELCSNd" data-name="Stormzy">Stormzy</a> wanted her to contribute on his remix for his No.1 hit ‘Vossi Bop’, a request she of course jumped on.
