Lazlo’s Gone is an album journey of rock n roll / blues / bluegrass / Americana that you are going to enjoy. It’s a sit down and listen from beginning to end with a glass of wine, or whatever floats your boat :-)
I like to think of Lazlo’s genre being “Sin & Redemption”. Making “ Art” is what it’s about!
Taking the time to give the listener a 40 minute journey from beginning to end, that is my goal.
Teaming up with Dennis Holt, Nashville drummer, has been the greatest part of the journey. His advice , mentoring, and friendship are something I will always cherish.
Dennis introduced me to Jon Conley (Kenny Chesney’s guitarist). Jon is now my lead guitarist, but also plays, bouzouki, mandolin, violin, banjo among other instruments. His blistering guitar leads on ”Hot Spot”, “Waitin”, and “Livin in the USA” are just the beginning of what I’ve got in store for the fans.
Chris Donohue is my bass player. He is featured on “Feeling Blue”, “… By The Way”, and “Heavy Burden”.
“IT'S ALL ABOUT SOUL" Phil Madeira is my keyboard king on “Feeling Blue”.
Dane Bryant, who’s creative work on the song “With God on our side”, a Dylan cover, on the fall release album “ … By The Way “ is reprised on the spring album “Heavy Burden”.
The McCrary Sisters debut for Lazlo’s Gone on "Feeling Blue", and again on “… By The Way”. Their return on “Heavy Burden” does not disappoint!
