Born and raised in South East London, Le3 bLACK has cultivated his musical roots into an aggressively unique and striking style and sound. Self-taught in production, rapping and songwriting, he floats in deep thought and expels waves of creatively constructed bars on his out-of-the-box tracks. Influenced much more than just Rap/Hip Hop (such as Electronic, Alternative, Trap, R&B), Le3 draws from many corners to stamp his mark; delivering idiosyncratic rhythmic patterns, melodic flows and left-leaning beats. Le3 bLACK has previously collaborated with CMillano, Virgil Hawkins (NiNe8 Collective) & others as well as being covered in a DJ Mag “Meet The MC” feature and supported by Mixmag, Trench, Clash, Dummy & more. No stranger to the forward thinking, Le3 previously collaborated with Hyperdub (Kode9, Burial, The Bug etc) signed golden child Loraine James (‘London Ting // Dark as F**k’) on from their widely-celebrated debut album. Having collaborated with other electronic artists such as Will Lister, Le3 has seen 3rd Party DSP support from XL Recordings “XL PLAY” playlist and CRACK Magazine’s editorial playlist. His recent EP “3LINK” claimed #1 spot on BBC 1Xtra’s “EP TOP 5” segment with Jamz Supernova and saw him picked as BBC Introducing Track Of The Week for BBC 1Xtra playlist.
