LeftRightCenter first met at a cliffside party in Malibu, and within a week, they were writing and recording together. Vocalist/keyboard player Jared Lee (Jason Derulo,Tiësto), guitarist/programmer Ethan Roberts (Katy Perry, Selena Gomez) and keyboard/horn player Mark Rudin (Shwayze & Cisco, Jamtown) were all longtime songwriters and performers, but with LeftRightCenter they knew they’d stumbled into something special. Songs like “As Good As it Gets” (Featured in Netflix’s “Tall Girl”) and “My Kinda Night” ( Featured in a global campaign for Grey Goose vodka) are designed to make you feel like the life of the party, and to capture the rush of energy and emotion from that very first session: despite merciless individual commitments, they say, “We kept writing and recording because the music felt too good to stop.” Now with a signature sound built from soulful vocals, funky guitars, propulsive bass and Motown-flavored horns, they’re finishing their debut EP
