Leila

Leila is a singer, songwriter, composer, producer and musician. Her music is a uniquely experimental blend of her eclectic training and influences across contemporary, classical, theatre and operatic music. She captivates listeners with evocative sound worlds of lush orchestral and electronic arrangements. Leila has written for and worked across bands, choirs, orchestras, operas, ensembles and theatre and performed at venues ranging from the Sydney Opera House to Sydney Biennale. After graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2023, Leila is excited to begin sharing music in anticipation of her debut album. She is passionate about diversity and dissidence (of sonic and personal varieties) and is particularly inspired by magic, literature, history, peculiar women and her cats. She strives to promote the diversity and decentralisation of stories told through art. Leila is thrilled to welcome you into the world of the Monstrous Feminine.
