Lemuel Yakubu – Gospel Music Artist

Lemuel Yakubu is a Nigerian gospel music artist whose impactful ministry and soul-stirring songs continue to resonate with audiences both locally and internationally. Based in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, he proudly identifies with the Jukun Wapan ethnicity.

Early Life and Education
Born into a Christian family, Lemuel discovered his passion for music at a young age while actively participating in the church band in Wukari, Taraba State. He completed his primary and secondary education in Wukari before proceeding to Taraba State University, where he earned a degree in Sociology. Also, he has a Master's Degree in Theology Education, further grounding his ministry in both music and the Word.

Musical Journey
Lemuel’s music journey began in the children’s choir and later expanded as he joined the adult choir, where he nurtured his talent and grew in his calling. His ministry has since become a blessing beyond Taraba State, touching lives across Nigeria and beyond. He is best known for songs such as Bukata (Need) and Haske Yazo (Light Has Come), which continue to inspire and uplift listeners.

Personal Life
Lemuel is joyfully married to Prayer Ali, whom he acknowledges as a gift and a great support in his life and ministry. Together, they share a vision of touching lives through the message of Christ.
