Leo Lobrev

Leo Lobrev was born in Riga into a family of artists. Surrounded by the sounds of classical music, he has devoted most of his life to the piano and vivid colors. He is a laureate of international competitions, a composer, performer, and an inspiration seeking traveler. Leo Lobrev completed his Master's Degree at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and also received his Bachelor's Degree in composition from the Latvian Academy of Music. Over the last few years Lobrev has worked successfully with Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, DD Orchestra, Birmingham Conservatoire Orchestra, Kairos Quartet, Decibel Ensemble and others. He has participated in numerous festivals and competitions around Europe as a composer and as a pianist. The main sources of inspiration are nature, humans and their environment, existentialism and spontaneous flight of fancy.
