World-renowned, chart-topping jazz guitarist

Nearly four decades into his extraordinary multi-faceted recording career, composer and guitarist Les Sabler is as adventurous, impactful and popular as ever. Since switching from the Gibson ES-335 to his current Gibson Johnny Smith model, he’s been unstoppable, earning over six million aggregate streams for tracks from his 2021 album Tranquility, including the #1 Mediabase hit “Esselle’s Dance,” and hitting the Billboard Smooth Jazz Top 15 with “Moonlight” from his 2023 follow-up collection Flying High. In 2024, Sabler followed those albums produced by double-Grammy winner Paul Brown, with two singles – “Hot Chicken” and “Patches’ Groove” – co-written and produced by two-time Grammy nominee, Greg Manning. Citing Larry Carlton and George Benson among his influences, Sabler, a native of Montreal, earned multiple Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards nominations for his 2003 album Bridge the Gap and the 2007 Brian Bromberg-produced follow-up Sweet Drive. Sabler also sang and played the nylon string guitar exclusively on his 2014 bossa nova album, Jobim Tribute.
