His love for music began when he learned how to play the saxophone at a very young age throughout middle school and high school. His passion for rap music started in his freshmen year of high school when he started listening to Childish Gambino, Chance The Rapper, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar. These rappers influenced his style for his deep, emotional lyrics and also inspired his goal as an artist to sound different than everyone else.
His interest in producing music started in 2017 when he was assigned a school project that required him to make a song. He downloaded some free music software and self taught himself how to make beats. He started rapping in 2021 when he felt like rap music lacked the diversity it used to have back when he was growing up and the ability to relate to everyone.
