One of country music’s newest up-and-coming artists, Levi Orr, is hitting the Nashville music scene hot out of the gate with a traditional country sound backed by a rock & roll edge. Born and raised in Mills River, North Carolina, Levi developed an undeniable passion for country music at the age of 14 and immediately set his sights on Nashville. He spent years perfecting his craft through his high school and college days by teaching himself to play guitar, writing his own songs, and playing any dive bars, festivals, or events that would have him. After graduating from Clemson University in 2018, Levi moved to Nashville and dove head first into the music scene. Following in the footsteps of influences such as Eric Church, Merle Haggard, Trace Adkins, and Johnny Cash, Levi has been known to proclaim himself as a “no bulls**t” country artist. In his own words, “I want to write and record music that tells stories about real life with a sound that punches you in the gut. No funny business. Just real music for real people.” His debut single Trouble With You hit music stores in April 2021, helping launch him into an official career as a full-time country artist. Though he has been playing and writing music for 10+ years, when asked about his newly released debut single, Levi claims “this is just the beginning.”
