Originally from Northern VA, Lexi grew up touring the DC metro area under her maiden name Lexi Peto. While touring she opened for artists like Jamie Lynn Spears and John Cowan (Doobie Brothers), captivating audiences with her authentic and raw performances. Today she is a rising Nashville singer-songwriter in the country music genre infusing christian/pop themes into her artist projects. A Belmont University alum, she’s made waves in Music City, earning 1st Place in the 1st Quarter Songwriting Contest (Christiansongwriting.com) for her song "Worthy", several recognitions for songs throughout her younger years from organizations like NSAI (Nashville Songwriting Association International), DC's Mid-Atlantic Song Competitions, and she was the first to receive the Young Artist Grand Prize from the Bernard Ebb Awards. Emotion, honesty, and faith are key concepts throughout Lexi's musical catalogue as she explores themes like love and resilience in her writing. In addition to writing for her own artist projects, Lexi also enjoys writing for other artists in the greater Nashville area.
