Life of Agony emerged from the New York music scene in the early '90s with one of the most distinctive sounds in its genre. Best known for its 1993 metal/crossover debut "River Runs Red", named by Rolling Stone as being one of the "100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time," the band instantly built a die-hard, cult following & the group toured relentlessly all over the world. In 2025, Life of Agony was inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame. LOA released six studio albums, including: "River Runs Red" (1993), "Ugly" ('1995) , "Soul Searching Sun" (1997), "Broken Valley" (2005), "A Place Where There's No More Pain" (2017), and "The Sound of Scars" (2019). A full-length documentary film about Life of Agony, also titled "The Sound of Scars", is streaming worldwide.
