Life Under The Big Top, a Pop-Punk band from Belfast, UK. First formed in January 2014 and since then we have been taking part in Northern Ireland's local music scene, our most notable performance was at the 'Feile an Phobail' in 2015.
This past year 2017 - 2018 they have started to build our momentum as a band and start to reach out to more excellent people. Their primary focus has been releasing original pop-punk tastiness. Original track 'Passing Strangers (In The Street)' was their first release in 2017 and they ended that year with our second release 'Running With The Pack'. And in 2018 have just released a new track 'Align The Stars'. The band has recently gotten to the semi-finals in BOTB’s 2018 and is currently working on it’s first EP release.
We hang out and talk to each, fun group dynamic, mix & wealth of music tastes and abilities.
Reviews:
'Self penned bittersweet sub 3 minute anthemic earworms, upbeat and full of sarcastic social commentary.' - Keith McCormick, TailorMadeMusic
'Reasonably new to the scene but you'd swear they've been at it for years!' - Feile an Phobail magazine
'Drawing influence from some of the great pop-punk bands, with both elements of new-wave and classic coming to the fore in the band’s songwriting.' - Jamie Kerr, Gigging NI
