Norwegian musician Lil Halima blends genres like pop, smooth soul, and electronica into her soft-spoken, off-balance R&B. After signing with Universal, she emerged in 2018 with the singles "Abstract" and "Train."

Raised in the small northern town of Bardu in Troms, Norway, Lillian Halima Anderssen began singing at a young age and later studied the violin, but didn't consider the idea of becoming a professional musician until she was graduating from high school. In 2017, she moved to Oslo and began making friends and contacts in the music industry. On the strength of a few clips of her music on social media, she was signed to Universal affiliate Def Jam Recordings Norway, and in April 2018, at the age of 19, she released her debut single, "Abstract." Her second single, "Train," followed that June, leading into appearances at Norwegian summer festivals on bills with marquee acts like Tyler, the Creator and YG. The single "Who Do U Love" arrived in 2019. ~ Marcy Donelson, Rovi
