Lilla Parasit may be a new band, but the members are no strangers for fans of the Swedish psychedelic and indie scene. Besides Are, who's band Melby released their debut album this spring to great acclaim, the band consists of Amanda Lindgren (Systraskap), David Svedmyr (Me and My Kites) and Jessica Klingsell.
The semi-psychedelic lo-fi folk project started out three years ago and has since changed both names and members before finding both the perfect setting and sound, resulting in the band's debut mini album <a href="spotify:album:53en8doNZjB9mM9N1dxekF" data-name="Lilla Parasit">Lilla Parasit</a> released by <a href="spotify:playlist:4cj7BZ1Zzv1ba8p2YppFbC" data-name="Rama Lama Records">Rama Lama Records</a> in March 2020. The album shows both the band's bombastic and more fine tuned sides, always backed up by great melodies and a sense of harmonies few can match.
