Limba Power is a musical comedy duo based in Sundsvall that makes serious music with absurd texts. while the main goal is to make people laugh, they often bring more serious topics or meanings into their songs. Their music is mainly acoustic but they don’t want to limit themself to one genre and often try to experiment with different sounds.
People often describe their music as surprising but a lot better than it’s supposed to be.
Ida Hamrin (from Timrå) and Matilda Lindgren (from Skåne) formed the band when they met at a music school deep in the forest of Fränsta. They first called themself Limba because of a coincidental brainfart involving a tree. After playing together for 6 months they decided to take a more serious approach and came back in the autumn of 2019 as the even stronger duo Limba Power!
