Born in South London and now based in Sheffield, Limita draws inspiration from sounds across the UK underground spectrum. With UK Garage shaping his early years, he also picked up on housier sounds, before dabbling with 4x4 and Bassline.
This melting pot of influence allows Limita to effortlessly switch from rich, catchy melodies and sublime vocal chops in to rough, aggressive basslines and driving drums across a variety of genres; whilst there’s no boxes that he distinctly falls in to, there is a very clear Limita ‘sound’.
Releasing on labels such as Strictly Flava, Four40 Records and Downplay Recordings, his own productions have been picked up by heavyweights such as Skepsis and Freddie Martin, as well as American figurehead Kastle who drafted Limita in for a remix on his latest EP.
Equally skilled behind the decks, Limita has recently supported Sammy Virji on the Liverpool leg of his UK Tour, as well as headlining in Nottingham and Kingston.
With a steady stream of both remixes and originals on the way, the future is looking bright for Limita.
