Born in Stockholm, Linda Oláh started her career at the age of 5 performing in musicals as The sound of music, Evita etc. Now; grown to become a multifaceted musician, she shapes and transforms her voice using its entire spectra; screams, breaths, vocal crackles, mixing both classical-, jazz- and experimental-techniques. She has been brought to explore a wide range of different aesthetics, performing compositions by Moondog and Kraftwerk with Cabaret
Contemporain, singing 50s jazz-standards with the Umlaut Big Band, and interpreting Fausto Romitelli's “Index of Metals” together with the ensemble Miroirs Étendus. She has also been a
steady member of the Orchestre National de Jazz (ONJ) between 2019 and 2024. Linda works continuously in collaboration with numerous groups: LOVERS, My end is My beginning, Nox.3, Dix Ailes, Sthlms Svaga, NORR, YOU, Bribes4, ONJ, and Umlywood Orchestra and can currently be seen live with several artists; Macha Gharibian (Fenomenal Women), Bribes 4 (The sky is crying), and the multidisciplinary
performance CHRISTA created by poet Perrine Lequerrec and double bassist Ronan Courty. Coming season promises several new collaborations, one of them being a new quartet under her name. Another example is the new trio “NORR” together with saxophonist Adrien Sanchez and Joseph Dumoulin who have just recently recorded their debut album. Linda is always at the forefront of her discipline, confirming her uniqueness on the current French creative scene.
