Line MARSA is a singer-songwriter born in Germany of parents from former USSR. From an early age, she had every reason to believe that she would become a singer. This led to the development of her authentic and moving musical universe, the common thread of which took shape during her teenage years, when she discovered the roots of the French Chanson: the "Chanson Réaliste". Line Marsa moved to Paris at the age of 18 and began to regularly delight audiences in clubs and bars with covers of Chanson, Jazz and Soul.
Over time, her "songwriter" side was revealed, when she suddenly turned to writing, mostly in French and sometimes in English.
The name "Line MARSA" is a reference to a singer from 1920’s Paris whose voice is undiscovered and whose story and personality remain quite misunderstood. This sincere homage brings her name back to the surface and gives it a new story and voice.
