Lional

In late 2015 Lional released their debut single 'Season of Salt' with a tour of Scotland in support. While the single received nationwide attention with plays on BBC Radio Scotland, it also achieved worldwide airplay, most notably with frequent rotation on Los Angeles' world famous KROQ. Lional were included in Vic Galloway's 25 bands to watch in 2016 and Jim Gellatly's 10 picks for 2016 in The Scottish Sun. The band also saw 3 of their songs in the top 20 of The Herald Scotland's 100 best songs of the year, 'Season of Salt' being the highest entry at number 11.


In 2016 the band were invited over to L.A to perform at the prestigious music industry showcase event MUSEXPO. Lional made their television debut on STV's Live at Five as well as being invited in for a live BBC Introducing session with Vic Galloway. The band played a series of high profile Scottish festivals throughout the summer, including Loopallu, Groove Festival, Tenement Trail and a triumphant set to a capacity crowd at the Hothouse tent at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.


2019 saw the band support British icons Noel Gallagher and Edwyn Collins. Throughout the year they have been working on their debut album, set for release early 2020.
