Little Desert is the name given to Melbourne songwriter Aaron Moar, who performs all instruments in his recordings.
Aaron grew up in Dimboola, a town considered the 'Gateway to the Little Desert'. His favourite place is soaking up the sun and having a splash at Horshoe Bend - a popular camping spot in the region.
As a young adult, Aaron wrote songs and performed in various bands including Humane, Willow, Tempus and Jezebel Child. His guitar skills led him to his current role as guitar educator at various schools across the Macedon Ranges.
During the 2020 Melbourne lockdowns, Aaron set himself a personal goal to write and record the 'My World Party' album in three weeks.
The 2021 follow-up 'Jungle Man' was produced by Sonic Outlaws and recorded and mixed by Sylvan Fennell in Gisborne.
A third Little Desert album and gigs are planned for 2022...
