London, England-based vocalist Little Nikki (born Nicole Shortland) was a member of <a href="spotify:artist:1zn7HMlUGNkf8LB2K3g1bE">SoundGirl</a>, a teen pop trio that released one charting U.K. single ("Don't Know Why") and opened for <a href="spotify:artist:1uNFoZAHBGtllmzznpCI3s">Justin Bieber</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3EBRANWwnViQuBrImN61Z1">Pixie Lott</a> prior to disbandment. Nikki subsequently went solo and, at the age of 16, debuted in late 2011 with the bounding dance-pop single "Intro Intro," which was a little more playful and free-spirited than the work with her group. In 2013, she released the animated pop-EDM single "Little Nikki Says," a <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Sony%22">Sony</a>-distributed release that reached the U.K. singles chart.
