Brazilian rock band Liverpool (with deep <a href="spotify:artist:22bE4uQ6baNwSHPVcDxLCe">Rolling Stones</a>' influences) formed in the working-class suburb of IAPI, in Porto Alegre (Rio Grande do Sul), and won the II University Festival of Popular Music (Festival Universitário de Música Popular) with "Por Favor, Sucesso." Next they participated in the International Song Festival (Festival Internacional da Canção) with "Olhai os Lírios do Campo," and then recording their historic LP Por Favor, Sucesso. The group also recorded the soundtrack to the film Marcelo Zona Sul before the departure of Pekos, which dissolved the group and gave birth to another historic group, Bixo da Seda. ~ Alvaro Neder, Rovi
