Lizard Fish is a Southern California rock band known for raw energy, musical grit, and a sound that hits like a tidal wave.Formed in 2010, the five-piece draws from punk,classic rock,reggae grooves,and heavy riffs—but refuses to fit into any one box. They don’t follow trends, but think Lynyrd Skynyrd meets The Doors with the soulfulness of Jelly Roll throw in. This guitar laden rock outfit makes their own lane. The roots of Lizard Fish go back to 1999, when vocalist/guitarist Justin “Jay” Reyes and drummer Dave Laguna began collaborating, building a musical chemistry that would become the backbone of the band. In 2010, they plugged in with bassist Corey Streavel, rhythm guitarist Dominick Whitsel, and guitarist Jericho Salt—solidifying a lineup that blends precision, power, and soul. On stage, Lizard Fish is a full-contact experience-loud, honest, and unapologetically real.They’ve shared stages with bands like Berlin Unwritten Law,Missing Persons, Powerman5000,and Puddle Of Mudd, earning a reputation as a standout live act in the SoCal music scene. Their debut single “Sober” is out now, giving fans a first look at the band’s evolving sound—anthemic, emotional, and heavy in all the right places. Their debut album is coming soon, and it’s poised to deliver a fierce, unfiltered statement from a band built to last.
