Locomotiv was raised in the south part of London having no father figure and with a mother that was barely there. Growing up in a area where you had to prove yourself worthy on the street to gain respect Locomotiv ended up spending nearly half a decade behind prison walls Hitting rock bottom and losing everything Locomotiv was left to rot on his own and he had to find the strength to get back up. He had to find a way to control the aggression he had since a young buck. He would mess about with friends trying to freestyle mimicking his influencers flows Loco started using his time writing music, taking course in music and life skills he needed and gained knowledge and a way to channel his anger through music. He found a lot of comfort through music. influenced by garage and hip hop music and artists such as Eminem, 2 pac, Nas, Big Pun and Big L were his biggest musical influences growing up
