Locomotive is a solo music project by John Magill, started in 2020. He has a 30 year history of performing live and in studios with various bands and production projects.
John is a guitarist heavily influenced by artists such as Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and GnR but also also has musical influences in Acid Jazz, anything soulful, melodic or with a good riff or groove. Influences collide into dance genres, including disco, house and big beat.

The tracks are all written , arranged , performed and co-produced by John. Utilising modern technology and combining contemporary production techniques with tried and tested traditional, triumphant guitars, bass and beats.
John is originally from London but is now based in Somerset, near Bath, UK
