Carving out her own space in the pop landscape, Lois has quickly established herself as an important rising voice amongst the next wave of Northern artists. With a lyrical eye for the experiences that often go unspoken, the Leeds-based songwriter blends elements of pop, soul and alternative rock with emotionally resonant storytelling as she navigates topics ranging from grief and trauma to self-exploration and identity.

Having first introduced her rule-bending alt-pop cuts with her debut EP ‘Strange Men’, Lois has gone on to gain appraise from tastemakers in BBC Radio 1, Radio 6 and BBC Introducing, as well as Wonderland, Clash, Notion, and EARMILK. With further support slots alongside The Lottery Winners, Etta Marcus, and SOFY, a sold-out show at Hyde Park Book Club, and performances at Live At Leeds, The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, the 23-year-old has made a name for herself both in the local music scene and beyond.

Now entering a new chapter in her journey, Lois is embracing the chaos, power, and euphoria of self-discovery as an independent artist. Currently in the run-up to her sophomore EP, the multi-hyphenate is quickly gaining momentum for the project, building on recent support from BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, BBC Introducing, DIY Magazine, Notion, and more. With new music on the horizon and a series of gigs ahead, Lois is fast securing herself on the path to pop stardom.
