Residing in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia). Long Legs is the newly anticipated solo expressionist and musical adventure of Tom Mitchell (He/Him).
Legs takes a sepia toned, colourful dream pop dive musically and visually, in comparison to Tom’s previous work in Belle Haven. Tom has used influence from his ‘front person’ performance in Beach Panic!, and matured the character to a long legged, love struck storyteller with a contemporary, retro nod to the 60s and 70s surf-centric sounds.
Tom is a seasoned musician, producer, and composer with over 10 years in the music industry, touring internationally and nationally and has been featured on Triple J, SYN FM, and similar musical platforms over the years.
This new project is his most raw and honest musically, exploring themes of therapy, facing past traumas, self-reflection and acceptance. This is all sonically tied together with infectious guitar melodies, pop infused rhythms with a scent of nostalgic summer.
