Producer and artist formerly named Bison Bison creates smooth synths, lo-fi drums, and calming vocals make up the distinct sound that is Loqsa.
Starting in 2005, then Bison Bison, created a collection of strange and unusual songs about loss, isolation, crows, and bad weather. Catching the ear of a small record label in New Zealand, Loqsa found himself settled nicely with a scene that was on the rise, via a release of the single "These Walls Together." Though as time passed and other bands came to form, Loqsa found a way to survive under without being part of an on-going release of music.
Today, a new sound has emerged, and with the release of new music, a new name.
