Hailing from Los Angeles, Lord & Lady combines the vocal and songwriting talents of Scott Oatley and Rachel Panchal. As session singers in Hollywood, both have sung for well-known TV/Film projects, including GLEE, The Simpsons, La La Land, SING, and many more.
The two have received high praise for their YouTube hit, "<a href="spotify:track:5LSxoz7nIURXX7BtrbvwPD" data-name="La La Land Medley">La La Land Medley</a>," which went viral at the end of 2016, garnering over 5 million views. The medley was more recently featured at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games during Russian athletes, Kristina Astakhova and Alexey Rogonov's La La Land-themed free skate performance. Since the release of their medley, they have continued to release covers on Youtube, amassing over 10k YouTube subscribers.
With the release of their debut <a href="spotify:album:0ukEHx9Yj3flkr6yskyeby" data-name="Lord & Lady - EP">Lord & Lady - EP</a> in 2015, the duo received many accolades for their original songs, including international recognition by winning the IAMA for Best Group/Duo for their song, "<a href="spotify:track:5JDaKTcAtdA4EXkvVgffQs" data-name="A Little Longer">A Little Longer</a>."
Coined "incredible harmonic hipsters" with "soul stirring magic," (The JW Vibe), their most recent single, "<a href="spotify:album:37fJ2QD1jR5zJcru9GZsJr" data-name="The Lift">The Lift</a>" has been receiving stunning reviews. Randy Radic (Celebmix) said, "The Lift" is "...a breathtaking song, elegant, radiant, and bedazzling."
“The Lift” was a precursor to Lord & Lady's sophomore <a href="spotify:album:00GaaxEjB6AB6DapIIpZ9L" data-name="No Ghost - EP">No Ghost - EP</a>, which stays true to their organic, harmony-driven roots while pushing the boundaries into a more contemporary Alt Pop world.
