Los Cantores de Arica is a Chilean folk group born in 2001 in the northern city of Arica. Their music revives the sounds and traditions of the Andes, blending ancestral instruments like the quena, zampoña, charango, and bombo with contemporary influences that keep the Aymara culture alive.
With more than 20 years of experience, they have toured stages across Chile and internationally, bringing caporales, morenadas, huaynos, and tarkeadas to diverse audiences. They have shared the stage with iconic artists such as Los Kjarkas, Inti-Illimani, and Los Jaivas. Their discography includes albums like Volver a la Puna, Amor Andino and De Fiesta y Carnaval, offering a vibrant mix of festive, romantic, and traditional sounds.
