Lost Pirates is an indie band from New York City, formed in 2016 during high school. Fronted by founding member Daniel Constance, the band gained attention for their anthem “Happy Fucking Birthday,” popularized by its fast-paced energy and suggestive lyrics.
Lost Pirates isn’t afraid to tackle various global issues. In the summer of 2020, they actively raised funds for the Black Lives Matter protest and helped other New York City bands like Not Amused spread awareness about police brutality. They consistently write about mental health topics and advocate for everyone to seek the help they need. When asked about his speaking out, Constance mentioned the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting as a turning point in shaping his beliefs. He believes that no one in power prioritizes the well-being of the people, regardless of their political affiliation, and this deeply disturbs him.
Their latest album, PINK, represents a shift from their early punk sound, delving into more introspective pop-punk and indie influences. The album tackles themes of bipolar disorder, with topics of love, self-image, loneliness, and addiction, painting a vivid picture of emotional highs and lows.

Building on this solid foundation, Lost Pirates aim to expand their horizons with bigger, more awe-inspiring shows and heartfelt music.
