Formed in 2002, Lothlöryen has established itself as one of the leading names in Brazilian Power/Folk Metal. With five albums released, the band has built a career marked by well-received works — from the demo Thousand Ways to the Same Land (2003) and the debut ...of Bards and Madmen (2005), to Some Ways Back no More (2008), Raving Souls Society (2012), and Principles of a Past Tomorrow (2015). They have shared the stage with icons such as Sepultura, Gamma Ray, Angra, Korpiklaani, and Symphony X, toured across Brazil and Europe, and stood out for their pursuit of a unique sound, which they dubbed “Lothlöryen Metal.” After a hiatus that began in 2018, the band returns in 2025 with ...of Bards and Madmen [Reimagined], celebrating 20 years of their debut album.
