Louka

An artist with a dark edge, Louka is a vocalist and songwriter whose roots are firmly planted in the tribulations of American youth and spiritual rebirt. Raised in suburban New Jersey, and in the shadow of NYC, she was accepted into one of the nations’ leading conservatories for the performing arts. Honing her voice, songwriting, and choreography she emerged with an astute knowledge and eventually found her calling as a star seed creating vibrational music to heal as she has healed herself and will continue to do so.

Represented in her lyrics and melodies is the passion and pain of hard work, self-love, and a striking vulnerability evoking the pinning of an underdog coming up from the ashes like a Phoenix. Surrounding herself with talented contributors, Louka has been performing since she was 6 years old. She’s been on stage in all different places over the East coast. She started out her journey in theatrics, has been a demo vocalist over the years and is now a singer songwriter and ethereal light being getting ready to integrate soundbowl and healing tones into her art. After being mismanaged for almost a decade she is finally independent and releasing music fully funded by her. New music is on the way and ready to be released.
