Their first single »Pointless« is a new wave song about confronting oneself, trying to overcome a deep crisis of purpose. It’s an intense conversation over a repetitive, hammering synth-bassline, sharp guitar riffs and cold, industrial electronic drums. The song appears filled with hopeless desperation and almost poisonous anger, until it ends in a euphoric, even catchy, finale that reveals light at the end of the tunnel.
