Lovely Idea is a rock band from Kansas City made up of four friends who just really love making music together. With heartfelt vocals, gritty guitars, and a touch of blues and indie influence, their sound is honest and full of emotion. Fronted by vocalists Gavin and Erika, who also play rhythm guitar, bass, and piano, the band is rounded out by Malcolm on lead guitar and bass, and Derek on drums. After playing a set at The Rino, they released their debut single Distance, Darling, now streaming everywhere. They’re excited to keep growing, writing, and sharing what they love.
