Loving Embers play indie pop the way you remember certain summers, not exactly as they happened but as they’ve settled in your mind. It breaks unto the scene, pressing in with a truth you can’t quite shake and biting when they mean to.
It’s indie pop with a pulse, a bruise, a point to make.
Formed in Piteå, northern Sweden, in 2017. Their music blends melancholy guitar-driven pop with dreamy textures and emotional clarity, drawing influence from artists like Warpaint, The Cardigans, and Amason. Music that moves between fragile and fearless, and began writing songs that tried to hold on to both things at once.
After a debut EP and shows in Sweden and the UK, they slipped quietly out of sight during the pandemic, like so much else at that point in time. Now they return with their first full-length album on the horizon.
