Low-D is otherwise known as Daniel Brelaz, who creates the musical soundscape and lyricist Chris Godfrey.

The band lines up with the super-soulful vocalist Gary Poole, Christoph Fluri on drums and percussion, Daniel Brelaz on bass and Toby Baker on keys, who exemplifies the array of vintage pianos, keyboards and Hammond organs at Boogie Back studios in North London. Guitars are played by Chris Godfrey and the horn arrangements were written by Daniel Woodtli (tp/flh), who was joined in the studio by Simon Stirnimann (ts) for recording.
