LOWFi's "The Allegory" is based on Plato's work, "Allegory of the Cave" where he describes a group of people chained to a cave wall and forced to live a limited reality based on shadows projected on to the walls. The conceptual LP takes a deep dive into this worldview. “In short, The Allegory is about ignorance, information, raising questions, yet still keeping our young energy,” explains Hayelo. The group embraces poetic symbolism. For instance, the cave represents a system of oppression. Meanwhile, a shadow is a metaphor for force-fed reality, combated by truth as light.
