Luna Morgenstern is ‘the kind of talent that can captivate with a single syllable’ (Wonderland
Magazine). Based between Berlin and Amsterdam, genre-bending songwriter and producer
Luna fuses heartbreak-pop with late '90s rave and '00s club influences, taking cues on her
production from artists including Imogen Heap, Caroline Polachek, Taichu and ML Buch.
Luna's 2023 EP 'Dance Dance (Don't Go)' is an intoxicating project which received praise and
support from the likes of The Face, The Independent and Dork Magazine; as well as leading to
her debut headline tour dates. Luna returns in 2025 with her follow-up body of work: ‘heartbreak
hotel’. The juxtaposition of a heavily club inspired sound with Luna's biographical, often raw and
revealing lyrics are at the core of her new EP. Documenting an unraveling of a long-term
relationship, each song opens the door to another room within the metaphorical ‘heartbreak
hotel’, reflecting on the intricate emotional stages of two people parting ways. From first doubts
to breaking for good, from escapism to finally letting go.
