KUOKO

KUOKO is an award winning producer, singer and DJ based in Hamburg.
Through years of working in a record store, her sound has been influenced by a multitude of styles. However, what unites all her songs is a sense of reduction to the essential, compelling storytelling, and the ability to emotionally connect with the listener.

KUOKO finds empowerment in exploring various forms of art, having previously sewn her own stage costumes, directed music videos, and designed her own merchandise. Her artistic approach is rooted in challenging and questioning existing norms, creating a space for expression that feels both bold and authentic. She advocates for greater equality in the music industry and has built a diverse network of women* and non-binary artists in recent years, with whom she collaborates both visually and musically.


With her latest album release, Troubleshooter, and millions of streams to her name, KUOKO has made her mark at renowned festivals like Reeperbahn Festival, Popkultur Berlin and The Great Escape. She has also supported the acclaimed electronic pop duo ÄTNA and performed to a sold-out audience at Hamburg's prestigious Elbphilharmonie in 2023.
