KUOKO is an artist, producer and DJ based in Hamburg, germany. With two self-produced albums to date, she was awarded with Sony's female* producer prize in 2024.
KUOKO released her debut album on Hamburg's indie label Kabul Fire Records in 2021. Moving between pop and electronic music, her sound is genre-bending and diverse. What unites all her songs is a reduction to the essential, compelling storytelling and the ability to spark emotion. her artistic approach is deeply influenced by her D.I.Y. ethics and perspective as asian female producer in a male dominated industry.
KUOKO has made her mark at renowned festivals like Reeperbahn Festival, Popkultur Berlin, MS Dockville, Fusion Festival and The Great Escape. As a support act she has played alongside electronic acts such as ÄTNA and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith. In 2023 she performed to a sold-out audience at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, creating a captivating live show with dancers. KUOKO will release a new EP in april 2026, stay tuned.
