KUOKO

KUOKO is an artist, producer and DJ based in Hamburg.
With an entirely self-produced catalogue, she was awarded with the Female* Producer Prize in 2024.

Through years of working at a record store, her sound has been influenced by a multitude of styles. However, what unites all her songs is a sense of reduction to the essential, compelling storytelling, and the ability to emotionally connect with the listener.

Her debut album (KUOKO, Kabul Fire Records 2021) received significant press attention, culminating in a New York Times Square feature as part of Spotify's EQUAL campaign, highlighting female* voices in the music industry.
With remixes by renowned artists Erobique and Farhot, it gained international visibility through placements in U.S. TV and Netflix series.

KUOKO finds empowerment in building the visual world around her music. A skilled illustrator, she has designed her own merchandise and collaborated with her diverse network of women* and non-binary artists to develop a distinctive style.

With millions of streams to her name, KUOKO has made her mark at renowned festivals like Reeperbahn Festival, Popkultur Berlin, MS Dockville, Fusion Festival and The Great Escape. As a support act she has played alongside electronic acts such as ÄTNA and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith. In 2023 she performed to a sold-out audience at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. In 2024 she started performing to a broader audience as a DJ. Currently KUOKO is working on new releases.
