LVR BOY is an internet kid created through the internet & music culture of today. Although he keeps his true identity hidden for now what we do know is LVR BOY is an artist based in Brooklyn, NYC. His sound tips the hat off to modern trap and old school rap, while also featuring influences as diverse as alternative rock, emo, and electronic music.
After years of soul searching LVR BOY realized the only way to truly be happy is to be doing what he loves making music. With 2019 here and ready to be taken in full force by LVR BOY’s authenticity, it’s his turn to really showcase to the world his story, ability, presence, and everything in between. LVR BOY is creating real content that the kids nowadays can resonate with, identify with, and learn from.
LVR BOY’s sound is closely reminiscent of that of iconic modern pioneers such as the late Lil Peep, XXXTENTACION, as well as Trippie Redd, only to mention a few. His productions combine soaring and punchy beats with seamless melodies and a mellow touch, which gives the music a great combination between energy and soothing textures. His distinctive musical upbringing and his diverse range of influences from Nirvana, Pink Floyd and Eminem to My Chemical Romance and Kanye West is definitely what makes his sound special. He uses music as his therapy ever since he was a little kid and believes creativity can change the world.
